An Ancient Synagouge in Israel
---this Synagouge is located in Capernaum of Israel which is on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Having actually walked and sat in the Synagouge, I can tell you that it is a beautiful place. Luke 4:31-32 "And he (Jesus) went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the Sabbath, and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word possessed authority."
Modern Day Shepherd in Israel
---a shepherd boy on a hill tending to his sheep outside of Bethlehem, the place where Jesus Christ was born. Luke 2:1-21
Aqueduct outside of Caesarea Maritima
---this aqueduct was used to bring fresh water to Caesarea Maritima from the base of Mt. Carmel roughly ten miles away.

Remains at Caesarea Maritima

I think there are two over whelming feelings/ thoughts that come to mind. 1)Thankfulness and gratitude. He laid out a revolution for the time period he was in. He paved the way for quality and freedom. He paid the ultimate price for me so that I won't have be separated from God. 2)Frustration for the underlining misconsceptions I have had for him. I have had to learn how to see Jesus/ God for who he is and not for how he has been portrayed in our culture.
